We went to the Western Cape, South Africa at the end of 2012, and we whenever I look through the many gorgeous photographs my husband took, it always breaks my heart realising that I’m not there anymore. Most of the pictures we have of the Western Cape have perfect lighting, backed with crisp blue sky, but this one taken just before approaching Camps Bay has a different quality to it. It was cloudy around the Table Mountain (the reason we couldn’t go up there for the whole duration of the trip), which gave the landscape a dreamy, misty, and mysterious mood about it.
I got curious where exactly this picture was taken, and was so happy to find the spot, complete with the tree, via Google Maps Streetview.
